when mind is numb
senseless chatters are scattered
sound bites rule the day
friends are no where to be found
political hypes surround
I am sitting and looking out
don't know what to do?
mind is numb and anxious for the day
a deer jumped across the pond
fawns followed into the clearing
chasing, racing, and playing
robin is busy catching the worms
hummingbird flew to taste the nectar
nature is simple and gay among it's volcanic stray
a known intrigue splashed through the mind
as a hawk flew by gliding into the air mass
life is robust and alive
when mind is numb in it's volcanic stray
feel and glide into the air mass of the day
let the air mass awaken the mind
serotonin will flow and glow
life will row
