It has been a long day,
a beautiful long day.
breeze has been simmering all day.
sun has been gracious since dawn.
the wild roses are blooming.
doves, robins, hawks, and the deer
are enjoying the serenity that abounds.
there is no recession around here.
the day
the breeze
the sun
the roses
all are spreading their bounty
it is a country farm where
there are no wall street casts
there are no Greenspan derivative dance
there are no stimulus prance
just nature's bounty at no cost
I wonder how long all this will remain free.....
how long will it take for the tax collector to tax the breeze..........
how long will it take for the wall street to capitalize
the sun, the wild roses, and the rest..............
until then it is a bounty from the nature,
free for now.
