The Art of Love

love is mysterious and devine

love is beyond the capitulation of our time

love can be felt in every nerve, cell, and spine

love is cerebral that knows no bounds

love serenades the hearts and the minds

love in it's purest form is desirous

love is a passion of passion

love is all there is to be

love has been in every song, romance, and dance

love simmers in every composing prance

ironies and paradox take hold of love in real time

as love strolls and folds in life's living thickets

love becomes a stuffy scroll,

a commodity,

a trading entity

love loses it's divinity

as it embeds in cultural turbine

love can be free, mysterious, and devine

like a meandering mountain stream

clearing and shining every rocks and pebbles

entering deep in it's terrain

emerging like a spring

fresh, cool, and sublime
