Presidential Inaguration: Today Is Tuesday, Just An Another Day

today is Tuesday, an inauguration day

a day to be happy

for the coming of happy days here again

new hopes are hopes for the day

ceremonials are trumpeting

for the coming of a new presidente

the word's out

newyorktimes and wahington post's are debating

media is cohabiting with the news of the day

still trying to figured it out: who new presidente is?

he is black

he is not hyphenated

he is the closure of MLK's dream

in a hyphenated U.S.A.

the world is fighting

poverty is rising

wars are waged

religious crusaders, and jihadies are in

banks are rolling with bailouts

tax payers are fed the hopes outs

to prepare to pay for the bailouts

old presidente is headed to Crawford

to run around the ranch

to build his image of a "good guy"

the break he got from the new presidente

today is Tuesday, just an another day

I loved this, was looking for poetry about the hope of the country and you read my mind, the old one is going home to piddle around and see if somehow somewhere he can look good. It took me by a pleasant suprise. Keep writing my friend Margaret
