a dreadful fear
fear of ourselves in others
inside and outside
across the sea
across the table
across the neighborhood

humanity is losing it's soul to xenophobia
losing it's sanity
losing the heart it bestows
xenophobia
a dreadful disease
surrounds us
limits our growth
limits our embrace
limits out thoughtful grace
xenophobia
a sickness that empowers the war mongers
a sickness that empowers the hate lovers

a sickness winning the race
