America's Short Memory

an unfortunate plight

America does not know

does not want to know

does not care to know

it's past, present, or in between, or

past declaration of independence, if it need to be

America's short memory is fading

the premise of declaration of Independence is clouding

as the nation mixes the god, and the state

decimates the separation of power

a loss of moral ground

the moral ground needs rebound

for America's survival

for world's, and planet's revival

to breath, and live
