Wake Up Call

wake up and rise

stir the world into splendorous wonder

bring beauty to hearts and minds

equate beauty to rose despite it's thorn

equate beauty to heart despite it's irrational horn

equate beauty to mind despite it's rational thorn, horn, and clutter

change the premise of living, and so of life

the world is divided among faiths of consumerism, fanaticism, and religiosity

prudent living on decline

consumerism, fanaticism, and religiosity on the rise

bringing nothing but miseries to no one's surprise

calm the clutter of rushing thoughts with feelings to arouse passion in life

wake up, and rise to morning's pleasant surprise
